The Buckaroos Model 8900E insulated saddle is designed primarily for indoor use on cold and hot service. It can be used outdoors if weather protected. Meets MSS SP-58, 9.2.2 for Type 40 Shields.

The Model 8900E (Extended Insulation) has the insulation extended beyond the saddle for easy application of a tape butt-strip. Always install the specified insulation thickness to insure system performance.

Intended Application:

For use on refrigeration lines, chilled water lines, cold-process piping and thermal-cyclic systems. Use on cold systems where control of condensation is a critical requirement. Recommended for use on hot systems up to 500 degrees F to standardize saddle specification. Ideal for domestic hot water and low-pressure (50# max. pressure) steam lines.
