Model 1200E Insulated Saddle for Hot Service

The Buckaroos Model 1200E insulated saddle is designed primarily for indoor use on hot service up to 1200 degrees F. It can be used outdoors if weather protected. Meets MSS SP-58, 9.2.2 for Type 40 Shields.

  • A G-90 galvanized steel Buckaroo 180-degree bottom shield (a 360-degree self-clamping shield also available) for Maximum Insulation Protection at hanger locations.
  • Double Layer Configuration available upon request for Extreme Temperature Applications. 

The Model 1200E (Extended Insulation) has the insulation extended beyond the saddle for easy application of a tape butt-strip or adjoining jacketing materials. Always install the specified insulation thickness to insure system performance.

For indoor use on hot systems from 300 degrees F up to 1200 degrees F. Ideal for all steam, high temperature process and other high temperature applications. The Model 1200E insulated saddle saves energy. Insure complete system integrity by eliminating compromised thermal performance at all hanger and support locations. Due to its complete design, the Model 1200E insulated saddle saves labor because it can be installed rapidly by any qualified contractor. The Model 1200E insulated saddle is always a wise investment! 

Note: Even when using a vapor barrier, Calcium Silicate should not be used on cold applications.
